Incredible App!
This app is one of the best apps to make money and also save money from stores. From my experience just scanning a couple of products which takes a couple minutes can earn like $2. This may not sound like much, but in reality all it takes is some scanning and you make easy money! I personally love the fact that the withdrawal process is somewhat cryptocurrency I think, due to the fact of how the value of the Shping coins can increase in value when moving to your Bank Account or Cryptowallet. For example when withdrawing it said $2 but when it arrived in my bank account it was $3. One thing I wish they could add or do is a cryptocurrency chart or some sort of reminder when the value of these shping coins increase or not so we can withdraw our shping coins and receive the highest amount possible that we can. Overall very great app and definitely doesn’t seem to be a shady!
Good for scanning, bad for comparison
I am using this app for few months. It is good app for scanning and earning money. Whenever I visit store, I scan few products and see the price. It has many issues as well. First, your money fluctuates too frequently (might that is due to dollar rate variation), second it’s 1 Cent per scan, so for 1 dollar we have to do 100 scans, and reach fair usage limit, third it sometimes rejects your coin and you can not even know which scan/review was rejected. Also, it sometimes fails to compare price as it (price) is not updated so frequently. For example, when I went to buy India Gate Basmati Rice this week, the app showed 10$ in Woolworths (1/2 Price) but it was same as Coles, $20. Same was for the product in Coles. I took that and went to counter, but counter person charged other rate.
Overall, App is good and user friendly. But would be better if it says how many scans we have done in a day and month in scan page, currently it just shows few recent scans only. I got Scan warning, even just 3/4 scan in a day. So I guess it’s a warning of month, but I don’t know how many scans I have done in a month. So it would be better if we can see counts.
